LARMAC agrees to form a resident advisory committee on pest management

At the July 8 LARMAC board meeting, the board agreed to form a resident advisory committee focused on Integrated Pest Management (IPM): the practices, products, and notice procedures used for pesticide, herbicide, and rodenticide applications in Ladera Ranch’s common areas.

We want to thank the LARMAC board for engaging constructively on this. Board members are resident volunteers, same as us, and this outcome reflects a genuine, collaborative conversation, not a dispute. We’re looking forward to working alongside the committee as it forms.

This is one piece of a broader effort that includes the pending California Cancer Registry analysis and our public records requests to LARMAC and CUSD. We’ll post details on how to get involved with the advisory committee as they become available. Check Get Involved or our Facebook group for updates.
